This webcast is based on new communications research showing when we communicate there actually are two conversations occurring at the same time—one conscious, the other unconscious. We will discuss the science on the topic—specifically how the emotional brain makes unconscious judgements about people (and speakers) in nanoseconds. We will provide participants with tools and techniques to help them prepare for, and control, the “unconscious conversation” that occurs in every communication. This will include ways to maximize voice tone and body language to guide unconscious conversation and, as a result, optimize speaking style.
