Transportation
The closest airport to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
The following transportation options are available from the Vancouver International Airport to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver:
Canada Line Skytrain
The Canada Line Skytrain (light rapid transit system) departs every 12 minutes (every 6 minutes during peak periods) to downtown Vancouver. The current fare is $8.75 per person and will take you to Vancouver City Centre Station which is 2 blocks away from the hotel. The trip will take 30 minutes and is recommended for guests with little luggage.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available at the Arrivals Level. The trip will take 30 minutes and the cost is a metered rate of approximately $30.00 - $35.00. There is also an "Aerocar" limousine stand in the same area which offers sedan cars to our hotel for approximately $45.00 - $50.00 but they do not take advance reservations.
Parking is available at the hotel for self-park with in and out access for a rate of $30 per day for our group.

Attire
Dress for the program is business casual. Meeting room temperatures fluctuate but tend to be cool. Though the conference center staff is sensitive to room temperatures and will try to accommodate your needs, we strongly suggest that you dress in layers and bring a sweater or jacket to adjust to your personal comfort level.
