Turning “Scientific Speak” Into Engaging Communications
27 March 2012
5:30–8:30 pm
Waltham Chateau
Waltham, MA
Join regulatory colleagues from the Boston area for an evening of networking and an expert presentation entitled, Turning Scientific Speak Into Engaging Communications. This event is sponsored by the RAPS Boston Chapter and is intended to promote knowledge advancement and facilitate networking among local regulatory professionals.
Communicating science and health information has never been more important, and the ability to communicate effectively is one of the most critical skills for any regulatory or business professional to master. But preparing and delivering a powerful message or presentation is not easy. It is a learned and practiced skill that many people do not spend enough time honing.
This presentation will provide specific processes to:
- identify your speaking goals
- analyze your audience
- develop clear and compelling messages
- speak with power and pizzazz, and
- anticipate and answer questions effectively.
This presentation, followed by interactive role play, will help optimize your success with any audience including meetings with the US Food and Drug Administration and meetings with your management team, projects teams and colleagues.
A dinner buffet will be available for all meeting participants and attendees may claim two (2) RAC recertification points.
