How to Get Involved in a Chapter

Expand your network. Grow your career. Take initiative.

RAPS chapters are there for all levels of regulatory professionals. Whether it’s evening networking receptions or an educational event, there’s something for everyone in the industry through RAPS worldwide network.

Explore your area organizations through the Chapter Community Sites or the Events Calendar and sign up for an upcoming event like:

Speaker Programs

Evening events that include a presentation given by a content expert, along with dedicated time for networking over a meal.

Networking Reception

Evening events that offer an informal environment for participants to network with each other and discuss current regulatory topics with no formal presentation.

RAC Study Groups

Highly focused study sessions led by local colleagues and certified professionals to help individuals prepare for the RAC exam.

Roundtable Discussions

Topic-focused events where all participants have an opportunity to engage in detailed discussion on a pre-determined “hot topic” in regulatory.

Volunteer Activities

Each RAPS chapter has different needs, but each chapter is driven by a team of dedicated volunteers to plan and organize events. Bring your expertise and a desire to learn to a local chapter and:

  • Facilitate onsite registration
  • Assist/support chapter leaders in identifying topic/speaker for event
  • Speak at a chapter event
  • Help identify facility locations for events
  • Promote chapter activities through your personal network

Start a New Chapter

If there isn’t a chapter in your region, RAPS supports the development of new organizations around the world. New chapter inquiries begin with a 4-6 month evaluation period when RAPS works with volunteers to assess the viability of creating a chapter in a new location.
