Effective Communication and Negotiation

Communication and negotiation are essential skill sets for any professional whose work may require influencing others. For regulatory professionals, these skills become exponentially critical since their responsibilities regularly include negotiations among manufacturers and global regulatory agencies and/or Notified Bodies/registrars; discussions with management at the company, with partner companies, or during due diligence; and persuade teams to complete regulatory-related activities.

This course provides a basic understanding of the use of effective skills for all regulatory communications, from influencing teams and negotiating to everyday activities within and across the company. It explores how to make communication more effective in all interactions, including interviews, presentations, meetings, negotiations and written documents. Participants will come away with a better understanding of listening, influencing and achieving more effective results during all interactions.
