Congratulations on your decision to take the RAC exam! Reading the RAC Reference Tools is an important step in preparing for the RAC exam. However, no book can completely prepare you to pass the exam. Experience also plays a significant role in your preparation and ability to pass the exam. You should consider these materials to be simply a reference guide and not your sole preparation for the exam. Below are descriptions of publications available from RAPS that can help prepare you for the exam.

Fundamentals of Regulatory Affairs Series (Canada, EU, US)

Updated annually and based on the content areas for each exam, these indispensable practice examinations allow applicants to test their knowledge and assess their strengths and weaknesses in a format that matches the actual exam.
Prepare for the RAC (Canada) Exam Webcast Series: Modules 1 & 2
Held annually, this live webcast is composed of two separate modules. Module 1 combines effective study and preparation techniques with a content review of strategic planning and premarketing. Module 2 combines techniques for analyzing questions with a content review of postmarketing and interfacing.

Twice each year, RAPS offers a series of RAC prep live webcasts that combine effective study and preparation techniques with content reviews and sample questions. Module 1 covers strategic planning, design and development; Module 2, premarketing regulatory review & manufacturing/quality systems; and Module 3, marketing/ postapproval & interface. CD versions are also available for purchase after the webcasts.
