Keynote Speaker: Andrew Hargadon
Andrew Hargadon is an associate professor of technology management at the Graduate School of Management and director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and the Energy Efficiency Center at University of California, Davis. Professor Hargadon’s research focuses on the effective management of innovation and the strategic role of design in managing technology transitions.
Clifford Goodman, PhD, is a Senior Vice President at The Lewis Group, a health care policy and human services consulting firm based in Falls Church, Virginia. He has more than 25 years of experience in such areas as technology assessment, evidence-based health care, health economics, and studies pertaining to health care innovation, regulation, and payment. His experience includes directing studies and projects for an international range of government agencies; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies; health care provider institutions; and professional, industry, and patient advocacy groups.

Closing Plenary Speaker: Dr. Kellie McElhaney
Kellie McElhaney is the John c. Whitehead Distinguished Faculty Fellow in Corporate Responsibility and founding director of the Center for Responsible Business at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. She developed and launched the center in January 2003. She consults for many Fortune 500 companies and was named a 2005 Faculty Pioneer for Institutional Leadership in the Aspen Institute’s biennial report, Beyond Grey Pinstripes.
