I need help logging in:
If you are logged into the RAPS website, you will still need to log-in separately to RAPS Online University. Go to the Online University homepage and click on the "Log In for Online University" button in the upper right-hand side. When prompted enter your username and password. This information was provided to you in confirmation email when your course was purchased.
What are the technical requirements for using RAPS Online University?
RAPS Online University works best with an up-to-date version of Internet Explorer or Firefox. Flash 7 is a common plug-in used in RAPS online courses and can be downloaded at www.adobe.com.
Is RAPS membership included in any of the online courses?
RAPS membership is only available for one online course, Introduction to Regulatory Affairs & the Healthcare Product Lifecycle; membership is not available for any other individual online course, but is available with the Medical Device Certificate program.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations cannot be accepted for RAPS Online University courses. Please be aware of potential scheduling conflicts prior to registering for an online course so that you may complete the course within your subscription period.
How long do I have to complete my course?
Course subscriptions begin on the date of purchase. Individually purchased courses are active for two months (60 days). Courses selected as part of the Medical Devices Certificate program are active for six months (180 days).
Am I able to get a course extension?
Individual courses may be extended for 30 days and a $50.00 fee will apply. Individuals must submit a course extension request in writing along with payment at least three business days prior to the course's expiration date. If a request is made less than three business days prior to the course expiration or if the course has already expired, no extensions will be granted and the course will need to be re-purchased at the full registration fee to reinstate access. The extension fee may be waived in the event of a documented medical emergency or serious illness that prevented the individual from completing his or her course within the allotted subscription time.
How can I track my progress?
Within each course an interactive outline is provided on the left-hand side of the screen. Clicking on each item in the outline enables you to navigate through the course. When you initially access the course, each item of the outline has a red “N” next to it and once viewed the “N” will disappear. Your course progress saves automatically and you can pick up where you left off at a later time by simply clicking on the next available red “N”.
How do I tell if I have successfully passed my course?
After completing the final exam, verify that the course name is listed in your Skills Profile. To verify this, click on the Home button, then in the left-hand toolbar under My Details, click Skills Profile. If you’ve passed, the course name will appear with a green check mark. If you do not see the course name, you have not achieved an 80% on the final and will need to retake the exam.
My Certificate of Completion didn’t generate. What should I do?
- Refresh your web browser
- Scroll to the bottom of the course outline located on the left-hand side of the page
- Three new pages should have been added to bottom of the course outline:
- a congratulatory message
- a course evaluation
- a Certificate of Completion
Can I get RAC credits for taking these courses?
The specific number of RAC credits varies by course. Please review the details provided on each course webpage for applicable credits.
