RAPS Fellows Program

The RAPS Fellows Program recognizes senior regulatory professionals for their continued significant contributions and leadership in the advancement of the profession and the professional. Fellow members will receive a dignified status and special services from RAPS. Fellows will be important resources for strategic dialogue, mentoring, implementation of special initiatives and international development.

Fellows will represent all segments of RAPS membership, including key industry, government, academia, research and clinical organizations, as well as all regulated products. Their responsibility will include the following:

  • Represent the profession and RAPS at regulatory programs
  • Participate in forums covering issues and trends facing the profession
  • Participate, serve and lead within their profession and RAPS
  • Identify and assist in developing future RAPS leadership
  • Give back to the profession by helping up-and-coming new/junior regulatory professionals progress through their career by providing guidance and advice

As a RAPS Fellow, you will receive multiple benefits:

Successful candidates for the RAPS Fellows Program typically have 10 or more years of regulatory experience and are expected to have Level IV knowledge, skills and abilities as outlined in the Regulatory Affairs Professional Development Framework. Candidates will be selected based on their demonstrated leadership, management experience and contribution to the profession.

Selection and Induction Schedule for the 2008 Fellows Class

  • Written applications are due by close of business on 13 June 2008.
  • The Selection Committee will meet in July.
  • The RAPS Board of Directors will review the Selection Committees’ recommendations in July and confirm candidates.
  • All candidates will be notified by mail by 15 August 2008.
  • The 2008 Class of Fellows will be inducted during the 2008 RAPS Annual Conference & Exhibition, 14-17 September, in Boston.
