Continuing knowledge and professional development is vital to the healthcare-related professions and is an important aspect of the RAC program. Individuals holding the RAC must recertify every three years after initial certification.
Deadline: Recertification forms for the class of 2008 must be submitted by 15 December 2008.
As part of RAPS’ continuing effort to make the recertification process as efficient and user-friendly as possible, paper documentation is not required. Simply complete the recertification form and email it to certification@raps.org or fax to +1 301 770 2924 (attention “Recertification”). or fax to +1 301 770 2924 (attention “Recertification”). Please do not send back-up documentation with the completed form.
RAPS’ certification reserves the right to audit up to 10% of submissions each year. You will be contacted if you are among the randomly selected 10% who will be required to follow-up with supporting documentation.

- Attending educational programs
- Speaking, instructing or participating in regulatory education programs or products
- Articles and other literary contributions to Regulatory Affairs Focus and professional journals
- Serving as an officer, director or committee member of a professional association relevant to the regulatory profession
