RAPS educational programs occur at different levels of the regulatory affairs professional development. For your convenience, programs are assigned to one or more levels.
Level I: Individuals have limited or no knowledge in RA and no experience in the industry or the RA field. Individuals have some experience in related fields (e.g., medicine, engineering or chemistry).
Level II: RA professionals have basic knowledge and skills in RA. At this level, the RA professional completes the RAC certification. Individuals have broad knowledge across the product line and have some experience in related functional areas (e.g., quality assurance, clinical or R&D).
Level III: RA professionals at this level have already developed broad-spectrum knowledge and skills that allow them to perform their duties. This level requires practice and support to improve and maintain skills and knowledge. Professionals are primarily involved with technical issues, both on operational and management levels.
Level IV: RA professionals at Level IV demonstrate a high level of RA knowledge, experience and a deep level of professional and business skills. Individuals focus on executive, strategic and management issues.
