Preparing to Take the RAC Devices

6.0
RAC Credits
Wednesday, 14 October 2020 (9:00 AM) - Thursday, 15 October 2020 (2:00 PM) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Are you planning to take the Fall 2020 RAC Devices Exam?

Join others from the regulatory community for a workshop/study group crafted to sharpen your critical, analytical and strategic test taking skills. The sessions will be facilitated by a panel of RAC-certified regulatory professionals who are subject matter experts in their fields.

This workshop will NOT be a fundamentals course. We recommend you have a minimum of two to three years of regulatory experience as the content will be presented with the expectation that attendees have a good understanding of the regulatory profession and in particular:

  • Knowledge of the full product development and life-cycle requirements for medical devices and IVDs
  • Knowledge of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements
  • European regulations and guidance from the European Commission and competent authorities
  • Globally applicable regulatory practices (WMDRF, WHO and ISO guidelines and standards)

During the workshop we will go over challenge questions, similar to the style and content of the RAC exam. This style of teaching has been used in other preparatory workshops and been determined to be most useful for those taking the RAC exam.

Participation in this workshop should not be your only method of exam preparation. RAPS provides many exam preparation materials which can help you develop a comprehensive study plan.

NOTE Registration for the autumn RAC window closes on 8 October. The autumn testing window runs from 2 November to 11 December 2020.
