The UK left the European Union on 31 January 2020, and the transition period ends on 31 December 2020. This webcast will focus on regulatory regime change for drugs and devices in the UK post-Brexit and provide information on the UK government's approach to product regulation. The presenter will discuss how to navigate the regulations' changes and provide attendees valuable insight for overseas manufacturers to continue to place their products on the UK market.
During the session, an outline will be shared of the UK government's current philosophical and political stance in its approach to product regulation and its relationship with the EU regulatory regime that the UK government has followed since the UK joined the EU in 1973. Attendees will learn details for what overseas manufacturers need to do to continue to lawfully place their products on the market in the UK and gain an insight into what questions there are about the future for UK regulation of drugs and devices.
