RAPS Seeks Board Nominations for 2019-2021 Term

Are you ready to distinguish yourself as a regulatory leader and play an active role in advancing and supporting the profession? If so, you may be an excellent candidate to become a member of the RAPS board of directors. RAPS is now accepting nominations for openings for the 2019–2021 board term.

RAPS is seeking to fill openings for president-elect and three director positions. Nominees must be active RAPS members in good standing. Interested candidates should review the position descriptions and duties and nomination process for more information and to download the nomination form.

“I can tell you from personal experience, having served on the RAPS board when I was a volunteer, service on the board is a highly fulfilling experience,” said RAPS Executive Director Paul Brooks, who was a board member for six years and served as board chairman prior to becoming executive director. “Not only do you get to work with some of the world’s top regulatory leaders and help guide a great organization, you also get to play an important role in advancing the profession and, as the RAPS tagline says, ‘driving regulatory excellence.’”

Completed nominations applications, resume or CV and at least two letters of supporting are due 30 March. The nomination form and resume/CV and should be uploaded via RAPS' volunteer portal. The letters of support may be uploaded as well, or emailed to The Nominating Committee will review nominations of qualified individuals, and the slate of board candidates will be announced in June.
