Expanding Global Pharmaceutical Harmonization: A Look at ASEAN’s PPWG and The Americas’ PANDRH

As the biopharmaceutical industry extends its global reach, various regions of the world are embracing harmonization. Nations and regions other than the EU, Japan and the US-the three that constitute the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH)-are working with ICH to adopt many of its technical requirements and regulatory processes so they can join their ICH1 colleagues in the race to develop safe and effective therapies.
