Focus Forward :The Smart Investment Is You

| 01 August 2010

We are approaching the end of summer in the northern hemisphere and the beginning of a very busy time for many of us. This month, RAPS releases the 2010 Scope of Practice & Compensation Report for the Regulatory Profession1(see p. 6). Data from a global survey of more than 3,000 regulatory professionals reinforce the growing scope of practice for regulatory professionals, whose responsibilities are expanding across markets and product lines and throughout the product lifecycle, and are increasingly focused on business-related functions. We see growth of the RAC credential and higher compensation among RAC-credentialed professionals at all job levels. For me, this study confirms that the regulatory profession is dynamic, knowledge based and vital around the globe and demonstrates leadership from the middle and top alike.
