Tuning in to 2010 EU Medical Device Legislation

This year saw the first changes to the European Council Medical Devices Directives since their origin in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Even at that time, it was foreseen that such a revision would be needed after the system had had its chance to be evaluated in practice.
