Internal vs. External Hiring

There are a few important considerations to keep in mind as we step through an example of regulatory hiring at a small biopharmaceutical company. Features of the example may also apply to larger companies and can be generally helpful as a framework to thinking about hiring. These considerations should be well understood by the department owner as well as by employees within the group and management peers in other groups to help manage expectations and limit inappropriate judgments.
