Talent Management – A Quick Primer

When I first heard the term "talent management" from a colleague in human resources, my ears perked up. We were discussing hiring for a particular position and the conversation encompassed not only recruitment, but also the position's different roles, onboarding, how I saw the person developing and deploying within the regulatory department, and what I thought the position would involve in a few years. I found the conversation itself to be a learning experience as my co-worker led me through the various areas that I needed to think about.
