EU Falsified Medical Directive

Since 2008, ongoing discussions have been addressing a variety of changes to the European Medicines Directive (EC/2001/83). These changes relate to legislative proposals to ensure EU residents have access to safe medicines and accurate information on their use and effects. The different proposals are referred to as the "Pharmaceutical Package." The package includes changes to three key areas in the legislation:
