The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for contributing to strategy and execution of effective marketing campaigns that position RAPS as the “go-to” for regulatory professionals worldwide. The BI Analyst will be an integral part of the organization as we become a marketing-lead structure.  Contributing by bringing an objective, analytical point-of-view to marketing decision making; this role will be an individual contributor with collaboration across multiple team members and departments.   You will be uncovering areas of opportunity, along with sharing repeatable and actionable campaign reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and validate customer data, marketing campaign data, including but not limited too email performance, social media performance, website performance, campaign response and customer acquisition
  • Review and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Develop effective digital marketing strategies that integrate with overall marketing strategy and support product line goals
  • Continually improve RAPS customer experience, ease of finding information and purchasing
  • Design, modify, and publish repeatable marketing operational reports to articulate effectiveness, find efficiencies, and uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing plans for RAPS including integrated online advertising campaigns, social media messaging and web content
  • Create, develop and manage content for organization’s domestic and international public websites, using proprietary content management system(s)
  • Ensure consistent voice, look and feel throughout all web properties and online advertising
  • Lead social media efforts
  • Copyedit and proofread all web content for consistency with RAPS style
  • Track and report on all site metrics; analyze data and develop recommendations for content and customer experience enhancements
  • Review, write and edit SEO-friendly copy, headlines, & effective call-to-action statements to get the most search engine traffic
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with IT department to deploy software upgrades, create reports and implement data enhancement projects

Required Skills/Technical Experience

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, or related field plus 3-5 years related experience
  • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
  • Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results
  • Familiarity with content management software
  • Strong working knowledge of the Internet, Social Media, Web 2.0, search engine features, blogs, podcasts, video, etc.
  • Ability to effectively use strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Web writing background a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Impeccable written communication skills
