What is Recertification?

In addition to mastery of regulatory affairs, the RAC designation signals ongoing professional development. RAC status is maintained by earning 36 recertification credits every three years.

Deadlines

Professionals who hold an RAC credential must recertify every three years for each RAC credential they hold. Recertification applications are due on your certification expiration date as follows.

FAQs

How Do I Recertify Using The Online Method?

Add Your Activity to Recertify

Please see the step-by-step instructions on RAC Recertification.

To access the RAC online recertification application, you will need to log in.

I Have Never Logged In Before/I Have Forgotten My Login Or Password

Select Forgot Password to reset your login (see instructions). If you have trouble logging in, Contact Us to establish your login and ensure it is linked to your RAC record. Do not create a new account.  This will not link to your RAC record, and you will not be able to recertify online.

Do I Need To Enter Credits That I Have Earned Through RAPS?

Yes. For example, if you attend Convergence, you will still need to enter those credits yourself.

Can My Recertification Be Audited?

Yes. While the online credit tracking allows for credits to be entered, it does not currently allow for evidence of earned credits to be provided in the system. As such, you should keep evidence, such as a certificate, record of attendance, or similar documentation. This documentation should be kept for at least 12 months after recertifying.

My RAC Has Expired. Can I Recertify?

Check the RAC Recertification Guide to determine if you are eligible. Late recertification applications must use a paper RAC recertification application form. If your certification is beyond a year of expiration, you will need to retake the RAC exam to recertify.
