Editorial Advisory Committee
Updated 11 November 2025
The Editorial Advisory Committee (EAC) assists RAPS in identifying key topics, needs, and areas of interest for regulatory professionals and recommends potential authors and subject matter experts for books, the Journal of Regulatory Affairs, interviews, and other content. The committee’s primary purpose is to assist in developing books and journal editorial calendars for each calendar year, including bi-monthly themes and recurring topics for the RAPS Journal of Regulatory Affairs; recommend additional book topics for consideration; suggest authors for books, chapters, and journal articles; and serve as reviewers for books and the journal and books.
The EAC chair recommends members based on professional contacts, suggestions by EAC members and RAPS staff, and unsolicited nominations submitted to RAPS.
When the EAC has openings, the editorial staff will create a volunteer opportunity on the RAPS website and post an open Call for Volunteers in RegEx, the RAPS Weekly newsletter, and on social media. A selection subcommittee, comprising the chair and the editorial staff, will review the applicants.
