These members have been selected to join the RAPS Board of Directors in 2024

The RAPS nominating committee has selected the slate of new members set to join the RAPS Board of Directors for the term beginning 1 January 2024, following careful review of all nominations for four open director positions.

“These individuals have the knowledge, visibility, depth and breadth of experience, and commitment necessary to serve the organization well into the future,” Nominating Committee Chair Glenn Byrd said. “We are very encouraged by these regulatory professionals who are so enthusiastic and eager to serve in such an important leadership capacity.”

The following members are set to join the board for a three-year term beginning in January 2024:

  • Ayse Baker, MBA, PHD, FRAPS

  • Jocelyn Jennings, MS, RAC-US, RAC-Drugs, RAC-Devices, vice president, regulatory affairs and quality assurance at Mycovia Pharmaceuticals

  • Jennifer Paine, MS, RAC, FRAPS, WW VP regulatory affairs at Johnson & Johnson MedTech

Additionally, current board member Lawrence Liberti, PhD, BPharm, RAC, an adjunct research professor at Temple University, will begin a second term on the board in 2024.

The committee reviewed submitted nominations materials and made its selections based on professional experience, substantive involvement with RAPS and a clearly articulated vision for expanding the global reach of the organization and advancing the regulatory profession.

In accordance with RAPS bylaws, RAPS members may submit additional nominations through written petition, which must specify a qualified candidate’s name and position sought, and must bear the names, contact information and signatures of at least 50 active or life members in good standing. Petitions must be submitted electronically to the RAPS nominating committee via [email protected] by 26 July 2023. If no petitions are received, the slate of incoming board members will be confirmed on 27 July 2023.

Additional inquiries about the nominations process can be emailed to [email protected].
