Introducing the RAPS Italy Local Networking Group
The Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) has started a networking group for regulatory professionals in Italy, teaming up with a group of local regulatory professionals interested in professional development and knowledge sharing in their community.
The RAPS Italy Local Networking Group (LNG) is RAPS’ 10th local community in Europe, joining a host of other chapters and local networking groups on the continent. Explore RAPS’ European communities and volunteer opportunities here.
“I am devoted to regulatory affairs,” says Marisa Testa, CEO at Thema S.r.l., a founding member of the RAPS Italy Local Networking Group. “With my enthusiasm and this brand-new RAPS Italy Local Networking Group, I hope we will create a community of passionate professionals willing to express skills and share new expertise to practice effectively.”
Testa joins Silvia Tamarri, operations manager at Thema S.r.l., Carlo d’Alessandro, director of quality and regulatory at Donawa Lifescience Consulting S.r.l., Daniela Karrer, VP of operations and clinical at Donawa Lifescience Consulting S.r.l., and Andrea Armando, senior corporate director at DiaSorin, as the founding members and leadership team of the RAPS Italy LNG.
Together, these RAPS members will work with local regulatory professionals and RAPS to host events in order deepen professional relationships, with an emphasis on driving excellence for regulatory professionals.
Regulatory professionals interested in joining the RAPS Italy LNG may join the group here.
“I encourage regulatory people acting in Italy to share their experience within the RAPS Italy Local Networking Group,” says Carlo d’Alessandro, “and to use this group to discuss any regulatory issues that may be beneficial for other professionals."
Chapters and local networking groups allow regulatory professionals to support regional career development with support from RAPS staff. Each chapter and LNG has a website where members can team up to answer questions specific to their geographic location, brainstorm in-person and online and arrange networking events.
