Price Tracker for Drugs

Brazil's national regulatory agency, Anvisa, announced a tool for answering questions about the prices of drugs and devices providing greater transparency in public and private reimbursement of the products.

The database covers prices paid by health insurance companies, prices found in international databases and prices paid by private hospitals in Brazil.

Anvisa is responsible for monitoring health care product prices to ensure that the implementation of "programs of national interest" is not impeded.
