RAC Exams to be offered online this summer

RAPS’ Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) program will offer candidates the opportunity to take the RAC exam online during the upcoming summer testing window, 13 July to 21 August 2020. The move comes after some testing centers experienced limited opening availability due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While many test sites are open and candidates can schedule exams at any of the more than 1,000 available sites as they normally would, this additional option allows greater flexibility.

Candidates may complete their exams using their own computers with reliable internet connectivity, and webcam and audio capabilities, any day and time within the testing window subject to seating availability. The online exams are proctored live, and exam takers are monitored in real-time as they would be in a traditional exam setting.

The RAC Board, which oversees the certification program, approved the live online exams on a pilot basis for the summer test period. Following the summer exam window, the board will assess the pilot’s success and evaluate its viability for the future.
