RAPS today announced the names of 130 professionals who passed the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) exams in summer 2024.
Each professional listed below has earned their RAC-Drugs or RAC-Devices designation, the leading credentials for regulatory professionals in the healthcare product sector.
These 130 individuals join the nearly 5,000 global professionals who hold RAC credentials.
To pass a RAC exam, individuals must demonstrate not only knowledge of healthcare product regulations, but also the application of analytical and critical thinking skills to a variety of scenarios. The RAC-Drugs exam covers regulations pertaining to pharmaceutical and biologic products, while the RAC-Devices exam covers regulations governing medical devices and technology.
“Congratulations to our new RAC holders for earning these globally recognized credentials,” said RAPS Senior Director, Credentialing & Professional Development Jennifer Naughton. “These individuals join an exclusive group of professionals dedicated to excellence in regulatory affairs.”
To maintain their credential, RAC holders must recertify every three years by participating in professional development activities, ensuring a commitment to continuous learning. Learn more about RAC recertification.
RAPS is accepting applications for the autumn 2024 RAC exams. The deadline to apply is 3 October. Click here for information on upcoming RAC exam windows, application instructions, and more.
RAPS is also accepting applications for the Regulatory Compliance Certification (RCC) exams. Click here for more information on these new credentials, which debuted in 2023. The RCC credentials provide third-party validation by way of exam and signifies that the credential holder understands the new European regulations related to in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) or medical devices.
