RAPS offers sneak peek of first virtual Convergence

With the 2020 RAPS Convergence set to begin a fully-virtual experience for the first time ever next month, and just ahead of the 14 August early bird deadline, RAPS has posted a new video to help attendees and potential attendees get a better feel for the live, online event.

Offering a sneak peek of key elements of the 2020 Convergence to be held September 13–16, the video highlights the record participation by global health authority speakers, inspiring plenaries and the popular interactive, small group discussions known as Solutions Circles, among other things.

This year’s convergence will take place over four days and feature three plenaries, more than 80 education sessions across four defined topic tracks, more than 180 expert speakers, including 43 regulators from 10 different government agencies, 13 Solutions Circles and a virtual expo.

The interactive format for Convergence allows participants to connect online not only with speakers and sessions, but also with peers and solutions providers. Attendees can use a custom app or website to build personal agendas, participate in chats, Q&As and polls, and connect with fellow attendees in real time. There will even be an in-app social activity feed, a scavenger hunt and entertainment. Wrap-up experiences are planned for the end of each day with a virtual dance party and performances from illusionist, Ben Corey, and Nashville-based musicians, Drew and Ellie Holcomb.
