Update: RAPS Convergence 2020 goes live online this September
The RAPS Convergence conference will transition to a virtual-only experience for the first time ever in 2020, with two registration options for its upcoming annual event, which was originally planned to convene in San Antonio, TX. In addition, the event dates have been adjusted slightly to accommodate the new format and will take place 13–16 September. RAPS Convergence is the largest annual gathering of the global healthcare regulatory community and the only U.S. event exclusively dedicated to the regulatory profession.“Each year, RAPS Convergence provides an important opportunity for regulatory professionals from around the world to come together as a community, share knowledge and support one another,” said RAPS Interim Executive Director Bill McMoil. “In light of this year’s unique circumstances, RAPS has adapted Convergence 2020 to protect the health and safety of all participants, while still delivering the high-quality educational sessions, access to regulators and regulatory experts, and peer-to-peer networking that attendees have come to expect.”
Attendees selecting the “online” registration package get access to a custom event website and mobile app, three live plenary sessions, a selection of 16 live sessions in two defined tracks, and the latest innovations and direct connections with solutions providers via video chat and virtual booth capabilities. Those upgrading to “online premium” receive additional access to the complete line-up of more than 50 education sessions in four defined tracks, one-on-one and group connections, virtual “Solution Circles” and a few fun surprises.
The conference agenda features more than 200 speakers from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other US and international government agencies; numerous pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies; notified bodies; consultants; researchers and other healthcare stakeholders.
RAPS also announced it has extended the registration discount deadlines to 10 July and 14 August.
