These 95 professionals passed their RAC exams in summer 2023

RAPS today announced the names of 95 professionals who passed the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) exams in the summer 2023 examination window, which started on 10 July and ended 18 August.

These professionals have obtained their RAC-Drugs or RAC-Devices designations, the leading credentials for regulatory professionals in the healthcare product sector.

These 95 individuals join more than 5,000 global professionals who hold RAC credentials.

To pass a RAC exam, individuals must demonstrate not only knowledge of healthcare product regulations, but also the analytical and critical thinking skills to apply them in a variety of scenarios. There are two different RAC exams. The RAC-Drugs exam covers regulations pertaining to pharmaceutical and biologic products, while the RAC-Devices exam covers regulations governing medical devices and technology.

“Earning a RAC credential is a big milestone in any regulatory career, as it signals to employers, clients and colleagues that you are knowledgeable, capable and committed to regulatory excellence,” said RAPS Executive Director Bill McMoil. “On behalf of RAPS, I offer my sincere congratulations to the professionals who passed these challenging exams.”

“Congratulations to our new RAC credential holders for earning these globally recognized certifications,” said RAPS Credentialing Director Jennifer Naughton. “RAC credential holders are recognized and respected globally. Their presence within an organization and as independent consultants provides deep reassurance to employers, peers, and the public.”

To maintain their credential, RAC holders must recertify every three years by demonstrating continuous learning, professional development, regulatory leadership, and an ongoing commitment to the profession.

RAPS will begin accepting applications for the 2024 RAC exam windows in October. Exams are offered in three windows throughout the year: spring, summer, and autumn. RAPS is also accepting applications for the new Regulatory Compliance Certification (RCC) exams through 5 October. Click here for more information on these new credentials.
