Dubai UAE — 30 January 2025 — Medical Regulation Gate (MRG) and the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) today announced a new partnership to address the expanding and emerging regulatory training needs of Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East region. This collaboration will focus on utilizing, adapting, and expanding RAPS training tools, and co-developing further training materials for the region.
“As an established, leading regulatory affairs consultancy in MENA, MRG specializes in navigating the complex regulatory landscapes for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and cosmetics,” said Mohsen Al Muslimani, Chief Executive Officer, Medical Regulation Gate (MRG). “We are excited to work with RAPS, the largest global organization of professionals involved with regulatory and quality for healthcare products, to expand offerings and support for this vital community of professionals.”
The MOU between MRG and RAPS outlines plans to offer online access to an extensive catalog of professional certificates and courses covering key regulatory compliance topics specific to the healthcare sector. In addition, the organizations will develop localized content relevant to Saudi and Middle Eastern regulatory requirements and intend to deliver local training courses to government healthcare officials, enhancing their skills and knowledge in regulatory affairs. The partnership will initially focus on the countries of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.
