Turkey Announces Conditions for Issuance of Medical Device Free Sales Certificates
Turkey's Pharmaceutical and Medical Device National Databank, TITUBB, posted an announcement on its website on 7 January 2014 concerning the issuance of Free Sales Certificates for medical devices intended for export from Turkey.
According to the announcement, the Certificates will only be available for devices that comply with the EU Directives covering medical devices, active implantable devices, and in vitro diagnostic devices.
The application form for obtaining a Certificate has been posted on the agency website and is available for download. The announcement also sets out the fee structure for such Certificates and the method for payment of the fee.
